Request deletion of your account and associated data

Account and Data Deletion

We respect your right to privacy and control over your personal data. If you wish to delete your GlowLift account and all associated data, you can do so by following the instructions below.

What Will Be Deleted

When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Account Information: Your email, name, profile photo, and authentication data
  • Profile Data: Skin type, skin concerns, beauty goals, and preferences
  • Health & Wellness Data: Skin analysis photos, progress photos, exercise history, and streaks
  • Product Data: Scanned products and ingredient analysis history
  • Usage Data: App activity, device tokens, and analytics data

⚠️ Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data, progress, and subscription information will be lost.

Active Subscriptions

If you have an active subscription, please note:

  • Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription
  • You must cancel your subscription separately through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  • You will not receive a refund for any remaining subscription period

To cancel your subscription:

  • iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → GlowLift → Cancel Subscription
  • Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → GlowLift → Cancel Subscription

How to Request Deletion

Option 1: Delete Within the App (Recommended)

You can delete your account directly from the GlowLift app:

  1. Open the GlowLift app
  2. Go to Settings or Profile
  3. Scroll down and tap Account Settings
  4. Select Delete Account
  5. Confirm your decision

Option 2: Email Request

If you prefer, you can request account deletion by email:

Subject: Account Deletion Request

Include in your email:

  • The email address associated with your GlowLift account
  • Confirmation that you understand all data will be permanently deleted
  • Any additional information to help us identify your account (optional)

Processing Timeline

We aim to process all deletion requests promptly:

  • In-App Deletion: Immediate (your account will be deleted instantly)
  • Email Request: Within 30 days of receiving your request

You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted. Some residual data may remain in backups for up to 90 days before being permanently purged.

Before You Delete

Consider these alternatives if you're not sure about permanent deletion:

  • Delete Specific Data: Remove individual photos, exercise history, or scanned products without deleting your account
  • Disable Notifications: Turn off push notifications if they're bothering you
  • Cancel Subscription: Keep your free account and data while canceling premium features
  • Contact Support: We're here to help with any concerns or issues
